Finding at Home Just Got Easier with Tile and Comcast Xfinity

Let’s face it: we’re not getting any better at putting our stuff back where it belongs. At home, things like keys, wallets, phones, remotes and more all slip through the cracks while we focus on the big important stuff, like work and family.

Fact: According to a recent survey, 44% of people have been late because they lost something at home. 

While it’s nearly effortless to lose something in your house, finding it when you need it is disproportionately harder. But why should it be?

Our partnership with Comcast Xfinity gives you more control over finding things at home with two important new features:

1. Use your Xfinity X1 voice remote to make a Tiled item ring, so you can find it faster. A simple voice command is all you need to hear your keys jingle cheerfully from your gym bag, so you can get on with your day. 

2. Supercharge your finding power by using select Xfinity X1 and Flex set-top boxes--as well as xFi Gateways--as Tile access points. These “finding hotspots” act as extensions of the Tile network, reducing the amount of time it takes to find something.   

Voice control is the most convenient way to find. 

We initially launched voice-enabled Tile finding back in 2018, via integrations with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. As a result, we saw a 300% increase in the number of people using Tile to find things at home. 

But what does that mean for you? Today, Tile locates up to six million lost items every day. With this expanded partnership, that number has the potential to grow by an additional 10 million daily. That’s huge!
